Classic Rock
Horrible stuff! Blerrrrghhh. On this diet I can just have water, nothing else in it, zero lime, zero lemon, zero cordial. Nice to know for other people reading this though.
neeeeeeeeeek
UNless you are in the pub on your own the chances are who ever is at the bar will be buying a real drink so asking for a glass of water as well should never cause an issue. Tyranna
Many times I have drunk a pint (or two) of tap water to sober up before I go on the stage! I swear by this method to sober up as well -it's the simplest way anytime!
muddycoffee
I can personally recommend the Red Lion on Charles Street. It is a good atmosphere and a proper pub with a good selection of drinks, real ales, and plenty of bar staff. When it is cold there is often a couple of fires blazing too.
