Impecunious
Hello, After having looked at 5 English wedding venues today, my fiance and I have decided to go back to our original idea of getting married abroad (Greece - we're thinking of getting married in an old building or somewhere with charm...perhaps outside one of the lovely little chapels (civil ceremony) or a castle type place). Anyway, I now need to find somewhere that stocks beach wedding dresses so I can start to have a nosey. At the moment I'm happy to just look online as the wedding is still 18 months away but the sites I find online are all really cheap and look like scams! Any ideas for websites/shops that are genuine and sell pretty beach wedding dresses?
h2407
Ach, I am looking for a dress and only have 10 months to the wedding, should I be looking now? I need some ideas. I am on a budget but I'm not even sure how much these things cost! I am hoping to book some wedding dress shops in sheffield in January, any recommendations? I would start looking now, as you don't know how long it will take to find one you like and you dont want to be rushing. i am hetting married in July and started looking around October time. I would reccommend Blushes Bridal on London road- they are very friendly and make you feel special Good luck!
Pink-Lady
I would also recommend blushes on london road, they found me the perfect dress and i just knew straight away it was the one. Zoe and Helen really put you at ease and like the op says they are very friendly and make you feel special :-)

Now, tell me when you think on making it? In what month of the year? In the case in which you decide to have your wedding somewhere between April and October, then make sure you apply for a really lightweight dress - it's really hot in this time of the year! kitkat81
PLEASE GUYS! I NEED HELP!!!!!! my colour theme for my wedding is buttermilk or if you like a pale yellow! i have purchased my wedding dress already.,but i am finding it hard searching for my bridesmaid dresses. Should i have them made by a dress maker or simply buy them from a shop?if so what shop/dressmaker is the best in sheffield and in the surrounding area? i have 5 bridesmaids! im not really wanting things done 4 cheap but dont want 2 really over do it but you only do it once! plus my bridesmaids are really demanding and very beautiful? please help? Hi Stacia Did you manage to find your bridesmaid dresses? I noticed you've posted a while ago so you may had your wedding already! If so, congratulations... I read your post and you were in the exact position that I'm in now! I'm looking for 5 (!) butter / pale yellow chiffon, floor length bridesmaid dresses with a black bandeau / ribbon bow thing around the waist. My problem is the budget too! So it would be great to know if you managed to find a dress maker? If I can find a dress maker to make all 5 dresses for £400, I would be extremely made up!! If anyone can help, please PM me. Or if you think £400 for 5 dresses is unrealistic, please also let me know. This may be a very big faux pas but has anyone ever asked their bridesmaid to buy their own shoes, jewellery or nails? Has anyone got any advice on this? I've thought about it if I can't find any dresses within my budget!

*Peaches*
Have you tried advertising on the job section for a seamstress? Has anyone bought their dress from eBay?
