Heyesey
Not content with fleecing the British Public he wants body parts as well.. Well, let's review. They can be used as either food for worms, completely useless ash and smoke, or keeping other people alive. Which option do you think is most sensible? kim69
I am already on the doner register, the bone marrow register and I give platelets, so I think I got it all covered!

Sultana
I would be a blood & organ donor if I could, but I have dodgy blood than no-one would want, so I can't.
fabulous_girl
I've just registered, so thats my good deed for the day. Apparently the only circumstances they generally wuoldnt use your organs/tissue is if you have HIV or CJD. I have never got round to giving blood either, i need to find out if they let yu give bood with an underactive thyroid, the amount of times i've been gearing up to ask and then forgotten all about it

BasilRathbon
Obviously giving blood's a separate issue to organ donation, but seeing as it's cropped up on this thread, I just wanted to say that if it wasn't for people in Sheffield who do give blood,I wouldn't be around today. Now if that isn't an incentive to get straight down the blood transfusion centre, I don't know what is.....
