Apart from the criticisms made in my earlier post, there's a good few, well established real ale pubs around there that have better beer, better atmosphere, are much cheaper and don't give you a pint that's half foam then force you to ask them to top it up. For years it was always a great place with good atmosphere as The Office but recently was like a library. Sorry but Upperthorpe's just not the place for this sort of pub.
