Plain Talker Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 I believe that during the war years for civil government a Coalition existed that governed civilian matters along with a mixed party cabinet which covered war time emergency matters. I hope someone else can verify or correct this because I'm not certain that is correct. I think your other post giving the: Vote, Vote,Vote for Clement Attlee, Etc is the correct version. What ever is was, I enjoyed walking round with the huge crowd of young people!! Did you go to the ' Ranch-House ' ( Carlton ) on a Saturday? Ranch-house?
