HughW
Hi there Does any one out there know of a street called Thurley street of terry street There's a Thurley Place on the 1905 OS map. It was a short cul-de-sac off Belmoor Road (off Attercliffe Common) with its closed end against the boundary of Carbrook Park. It will have been where Don Valley Bowl is now Terry Street was very close, also a cul-de-sac ending at the park boundary, but this time directly from Attercliffe Common. Actually Terry Street is still there, no longer a cul-de-sac, extended as an access road that passes Ice Sheffield to reach the Arena.
