callippo
A Jewish child born anywhere in the world is automatically given the Israeli nationality. Is this the Apartheid being tolerated by the modern self righteous QUOTE] literally dozens of countries all over the world, and practically all of the Balkan ones, have 'laws of return' favouring an ethnic group. Many countries have citizenship laws very similar to Israel's. if you want to find racist immigration laws, you'd better start looking at some of the Arab countries. Jordan, a country where until comparitively recently many Jews lived, has a law of return that explicitly denies citizenship to all Jews, even those who lived there for generations. Its law actually says that citizenship is open ‘to any person who is not Jewish'.
callippo
They have often said that they will recognise the original borders of israel. yeah sure. Why don't Hamas just repeal their charter then, like the Labour Party repealed Clause IV, for example, and which an organisation like that could literally do in minutes, as the leadership don't have to go to the trouble of consulting their membership (they haven't got one ; nobody walks around with Hamas membership cards, as if it were a political party). it says : "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it." (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory). "The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. " "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors."
