Bushbaby
I was in The Fiesta with him one night. It was Alan Woodward's retiring do. Norman Wisdom was on, subbing for Tony Christie. Scampi in a basket. What a night that was. Old TC could put it away and still play like a dream next day

coddy
going back to 1967\8 now. i used to work in the little office cum shop for the blades and Tony was a good mate, along with Paddy Buckley. Happy days. used to stay at Paddys house with his wife and baby. Used to go out with the lads sometimes. remember going bowling with them one night. Funny how the odd occasion sticks in your mind. If ever I hear "build me up buttercup" my mind has a picture of us all at the bowling alley. Anyone know what happened to Paddy, as I left Sheffield in 1971 lost touch with what was happening. My mum was over the moon when she used to have 2 first division footballers sitting in our little terraced house at firth park drinking cups of tea.
