sezlez
Help Me return an old 1924 school medal I found a a silver medal awarded in 1924 to E.Bell at an evening school physical exercises competition at "Anns Road" which I presume was a school. As you will have gathered with the date this person may not be with us anymore and if so It would be nice to pass on to any next of kin. I know It's a long shot but maybe someone in this forum can help. I have posted a good photo on my website showing the front & the inscription on the back. http://www.sezlez.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/les/medal.htm

pet-walkiz
if schools still did this type of thing..alot are against the competition for fear of making the not so agile feel left out. imagine now to recieve a medal for something you excel in within the sports avaiable in everyday p.e lessons. How many kids would want to get up and have a go , maybe the play station, wii kids who lack execise would gain a prize as well as being fitter?
