The churchill tank on the mound as you come off the m1 at junction 35a seems to have dissappeared. What as happened to it as big business ie JCB decreed it be moved so they can display there yellow monstrosities. It was a popular landmark so why move it. iamwoody Posted July 23, 2010 Share Posted July 23, 2010 I,ve read a few threads on here about the whereabouts of the large rolf harris painting from sheaf valley baths that got burnt in the fletchers fire but the other day i drove by the industrial estates at chapletown just off the motor way and noticed that the old tank had gone , but havn,t read any threads on here about its dissapearance.
