DrDeath Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 I am currently researching my mothers family history, as her information regarding her parents/grandparents is minimal i thought i would start a topic to see if anyone could give me any information about my grandfather - George Arthur Bricklebank. He was born in Sheffield (circa. Aug 1904) he married my Grandmother - Mary Ellen Coulston in the 20s. They Had 3 Children, John (Jack), Betty and Mary, and lived in Shire Green for a spell in the 40s before moving to Cleethorpes to open a guest house. George worked for Firth Browns as a turner from apprentice age (around 1919) until ill health retired him (around 1966) he transferred from the Sheffield Branch to the Scunthorpe branch in 1946 when the family moved to Cleethorpes!
