cosywolf
I'm going to be doing some storytelling at events this year, mostly for children. I'm looking for some stories that: Involve the natural world - forests, trees, animals Can have magical elements - especially faeries and boggarts and such that inhabit the outdoors Will captivate listeners Any help gratefully appreciated! Thanks
chill
Peter & the Wolf is a good one as it is set to music, it used to captivate me and spark my imagination when I was a kid.

cosywolf
Thank you, thank you. Both lovely ideas. And Nomme, thanks for reminding me of the Green Man site. Any more ideas for slightly shorter stories as well?

cosywolf
Did my story - Mikku and the Trees. Made all sorts of little props, as well. The story went down well, and a couple of people assumed I was a professional. Hmm....a new career?
