muddycoffee
You must be joking. At it's best rotherham town centre is a decade behind sheffield. I have worked in pubs in rotherham, drank in them and visited them. It is like visiting the 1980s.

EdnaKrabappe
They might sell GQ but probably only in Tescos as that's considered Rotherham's poshest shop. Hope you've bought your clothes two sizes too small in anticipation and that you still own a pair of beige chinos. Remember, cheese AND chips are a delicacy there, so only offer the chips first if you pull. If she drops them, it's a sure sign that you are in. Just enjoy it for a completely different night out. No need for the retro night in Roth.
missymarsbar
The responses to this thread amused me.....I was in Rotherham last week - I didn't see any bars that compared to DQ....just a few Weatherspoon type places that were full at 2pm, betting shops and cash converter shops selling second hand guitars....it's a shame that they built Meadowhell - it must have had a negative impact on Rotherham town centre. G Are you mad, If you want to step back in time, And experience all the commercial cheese and socialise around people that arnt openminded enough. Then your in for a good night.. If not, my advice is not to go, and stay put in sheffield or go to another city.
