A proper pub with proper people not full of chavs or drugs.Spent many happy nights in there playing cards and darts and a pint of tetleys as a teenager never saw any trouble in years just friendly banter, good old days and i lived miles away but still considered it as my local

sierraman
Has anybody been in The East House 18, Spital Hill, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S4 7LG recently. I was in about a month ago, its sad to see the state of it now compared with a couple of years ago. The Moonshine has gone to be replaced by Greene King IPA, like dishwater. I shan't be going in again!
CorkerSWFC
The Far Lees boozer near me has been closed down for years now, its a decent building what could be used as any type of shop/youth club/ or even another pub. Sad state of affairs which can only be blamed on the government.

No matter where you go in the UK its the same sort of people frequenting them. I remember the big Yates wine lodges in Blackpool, the Wetherpoons of its day I reckon.
