CathS Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 My mum passed away in 1992 and a lot of family history has gone unanswered. She was one of 7 children from what i know, 5 girls 2 boys and some of them(but not all) were put into a childrens home. My grandad was Harry Gower and grandma Rose Gower nee Simpson. they lived on kelvin Street in Sheffield at the time they got married in 1934. I know that my auntie Iris lives in Sheffield but the others i think are spread around the country. Have tried to go through Birth records for them both but there are multiples during the same yr so i don't know who is who. Any advice would be appreciated.
