pippadoll
The Rutland in town used to have an amazing beer garden. The Dam House outside seating is fab

Darkoak
Vine......like an Ibiza terrace in the summer! I agree, supplemented by the waft of the smell from "tomato" plants...
Yog Sothoth
The Rutland Arms beer garden is better than ever. Tim, who runs it now, is one of the nicest landlords in any pub, anywhere. Great beer too. The Plug own the lease but there are rumours they'll be selling it again, which would be a real shame when it's so good as it is. Probably my favourite pub in Sheffield right now. The Red House up Solly Street has a nice terrace out back. Right sun trap!
frostiekazza
The Phoenix on High Lane in Ridgeway .From the terrace there are fantastic views of the countryside , its all you can see for miles . Its lovely to just sit there on a sunny afternoon with a nice glass ( or 5 )of wine .
Carborundum
Vine......like an Ibiza terrace in the summer! Most definitely the vine on a sunny summer afternoon if you can get it on a day when the DJ is playing laid back trance (usually bank holidays or some Sundays) - its like being transported to a whole other world in the middle of Sharrow ... Carborundum
By the way the Broadfield is not too bad either new and improved - cept its also an area for smokers ... and the Nether Edge Tavern has a small outdoor beer area and the Union an even smaller one ... not forgetting the Porter Brook (overlooking the river Porter) and the Psalter and the Lescar outdoor area in Ecclshall which is very good .... I could go on !
