Also an ex of mine who was also bankrupt quite a few years before I met him was given a basic HSBC bank account as he went in to see them and he said at the time they were the only bank who would entertain giving him an account. Ghozer Posted March 14, 2008 Author Share Posted March 14, 2008 Some places wont accept provisional license as ID (Im in the process of ordering mine) as for birth certificate, alot of places dont accept them now as you can easily obtain anyones birth certificate. as for passports, the expense involved is a little high for me at the moment, and the time it takes doesnt resolve the issue for the end of this month. This should be a lesson to those that see Bankruptcy as a easy way out, the only advise I can give is have a word with the bank, they are bound to have come across this before.
