Dan_Ashcroft
I was just wondering what people's experiences of getting their tickets posted out to them for gigs at the new Academy? I ordered some a couple of weeks ago and they've not turned up yet, even though the money went out almost immediately. Is this normal - are they holding on to them to stop resales or having problems while the physical box office is still being built? Cheers

Fantomas
It depends what agency you used. It's very common not to receive tickets for gigs until a few days before the event these days.

Yep - stops people touting them on eBay as easily. They should have told you this is the case though...
Chris BIO
I bought my Steve Coogan tickets on Monday and was gutted they gave me them straight away, I was hoping they WOULD hold onto them until nearer the time as I've no chance of keeping them safe til October! Think their website linked straight into Ticketweb. I wouldn't mind if they had a tracking facility or stated dispatch wouldn't be immediate in the confirmation email, but as it is I'm just left fearing they've disappeared into the legendary Royal Mail black hole.
