AyupJimmy
I ahve heard The Bradway is re-opening after a full refurb very soon and will be doing food. That's another option and depending on what side of Westwick they live, might be cheaper in taxi than the Swan!
anarchist
I ahve heard The Bradway is re-opening after a full refurb very soon and will be doing food. That's another option and depending on what side of Westwick they live, might be cheaper in taxi than the Swan! I spotted that although unless things are very different the Bradway was not the place for a couple of 80somethings to take lunch.
AyupJimmy
Understand where you're coming from but I hear the new owners of the Bradway intend to create an environment where people of any age feel comfortable in their surroundings. They are well aware of the history and want to bring it back to where the pub was 10+ years ago. Obviously, the help and support of local people like you will be paramount...fingers crossed, it will be a convenient alternative.
lizmachin
The Bowshaw is a good spot on weekday lunchtimes. Not too much of a rat race.
