All I'll say is I've had alot more disappointing nites out in the last couple of years compared to 5 years ago when I could almost guarentee a top nite out everytime I went out (and there was alot more choice then and I went clubbing 3 times a week).

 

Now I struggle to find nites I want to go to and find that the music doesn't get going sometimes and people are milling around looking bored rather than going for it (see UG 14th Jan). Maybe cos things have had to go so eclectic to keep the numbers up...

 

I agree, now days I go out less, which means I want to make sure the night is good..... so knowing the music will be top is the main priority for me now....crowd is important but whats the point if the music is going to be badly mixed and they repeat the 'in' song a few times in the night.....
