angle20
So the multi billion pound construction company at the centre of it all must be run by Marxists. Well, OK, the new legislation concerns harassment of employees by customers but further legislation to cover instances of the converse probably won't be far behind. Big government and big business enjoy a very cosy relationship nowadays. Government gives the private sector a lucrative cut of government projects and in return business plays along with all the government's PC nonsense. I think this reply to a question about wolf whistling sort of sums up the overreaction i was getting at!
BasilRathbon
But surely wolf whistling is "aural assault"?
angle20
A story from 7 years ago: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/987052.stm Wolf-whistling workmen could disappear from the streets of Gloucester after the council warned its workers they may be sacked for leering at passers by. Council cleaners and repair workers in the city have been sent a memo warning them they could face action if they are caught wolf-whistling or shouting out sexual innuendoes to members of the opposite sex. I wish they'd show the same outrage at mugging and other street crime.

BasilRathbon
Unless projectile vomiting is a feminine way of saying "Corr! I think you're gorgeous!" I suspect I may not be as popular with the ladies as I'd like to think.

You know the good Lady Bon found you when you were a lowly postman with a particular way of pushing things through her slot. You were pursued from then on. We got together when I innocently asked her if I could park my bike in her garage and she mistook it for a sexual metaphor.
