Bradleys records

Recommended Posts

Hi there any body

remember Bradleys Records

one at the moor top and one on chapelwalk?

i am trying to contact the owners son HOWARD who used to work there ...He worked both shops.

He was a good friend back in the 70s/early 80s...and he was a bass guitar player in various bands ..The Ultimates>was a name i remember..

would love to see how hes doing

i have tried and had no luck on numerous occasions to find him.

he used to go to school in Edinborough Scotland (Rudolf Steiner)

Thanks ...peace dave cx

I remember ordering Led Zeppelin IV there. The hype was to order in advance as it was expected to sell out quick. Wilson Peck at the junction of Barker's Pool and Leopold Street also sold vinyl. I remember listening to Beatles singles in their upstairs private wooden booths, 0 then not buying them due to insufficient possession of necessary funds!

Dave Clayton, if you're still here. You'll remember the mayhem that was the navassa cruise when you were pushed to the fore in a music contest and won it whilst pickled playing Child in time on piano, beating all those leeds kids. Probably shaped your career

we found one on fargate and he legged it into bradleys records, we left him laying under a pile of empty record sleeves as we left :D
