dean1 Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 jessiet, you really need to download his medal index card from the NA. On the card there will be the words SWB List or just List with a number. This is his reference to his Silver War Badge(because he was wounded) and the number is the entry in the Rolls. Also on there you should have his Battalion of the East Yorks in which he served. With this you should then go to the Great War Forum's mother site the 'Long Long Trail', on there you will get an history of where Harry's Battalion fought during the war. Good luck, Dean. You have to register at your local library and there are instructions on what to do.
