Arfer Mo
The tripe stall in the Fish Market. Think I first went there around 1947 and it only closed last year. I know you can still get tripe in the market but its not the same. It was owned at one time by a family named Colley who had their preperation factory in pitsmoor I knew them well. Floridablade
In Millhouses park there used to be a (draft-draught )board my mother would challenge all the family to a game.We all let her win and she would brag all the way home about her playing skills. She brought 11 of us up and never complained, worked 12-14 hours a day except sunday, when all she did was make the dinner.,a major task now but she considered it a day off.The pieces were quite large and were moved by a hooked stick.
