Alastair Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 I was talking to someone who was reminiscing about Sheffield in the 1960's. He told me about a West Indian bar called Chainges (spelt just like that). The barmaids all wore a ball and chin and there was a sign on the door saying "no whites". Now the person who told me about it is white, but got admission because of his friendship with the owner and says it was a great nightclub and his favourite place to go back then.
