Tony
There is no Respect party candidate standing in the local elections in Sheffield this year. There is though a candidate for The Left Party standing in one ward (who previously stood for Respect last year). My apologies redrobbo. I took the list from the last election because my PDF reader is down ATM. At least nobody has said that they have voted for them
Fivetide
punctured bicycle, on a hillside deolate? This charming man... Would this have been more appropriate from the politicians? 'I stole and I lied, and why ? Because you asked me to' meh, didn't vote... and I know there's gonna be people outraged at this lack of botheredness, but I get equally outraged at the idea that it actually does make a difference, in the long term, to the important issues. SHYTOT
There's a guy in our area standing for the Pessimists Party. I was going to vote for him, but can't really see how it would change anything if I did. He didn't expect to get in anyhow!

Dave h-j
Well Pat Fox (lib dem) is really burning the donations; letters, flyers and just now i've been called (by an edinburgh number) to ask if I had voted for her yet. Maybe she's really desperate for the job - how much does a councillor get paid nowadays?
