top4718
That old chestnut. Seafood poisoning and back in a day - like Lazarus! To be fair I had food poisoning last year, was shocking the immediate day after, better the day after that and at Wembley with the Owls on the 3rd day, so not so unusual. samssong
After listening to radio Sheffield almost every day from when it was first broadcast it is sad the way the programme has gone down hill. We had some brilliant broadcasters in the past with Capstick , Jenny Day also the bloke who interviewed people through letter boxes and so on. Todays giggling morning mob follow class acts and just do not measure up, a shame really but not their fault if the BBC will not pay for professionals. Jeffrey Shaw
We had some brilliant broadcasters in the past with Capstick , Jenny Day. Yes, Tony was a fine broadcaster and so was Jenny. And Michael Cooke. And Marti Caine! Plus Elissa Factor, the first 'Traffic News' person.

Do you not just think it's because your getting older? It's like saying the music is all rubbish now, not like in the 70's when they made proper music.
