I think its about time Roney hung his mike up. he seems to apeal more to the fossils/blue rinses than the youger end, that horible droaning voice of his! could do with him coming and talking to the weeds in my garden, they wouldn't be back in a hurry. put him on between 4am and 6am and get some one like Scotty Mcclure, what a master! you get no change from him.

John Mann the excellent M.P. for Worksop has just been told off[ live on air ]for useing the most discriptive word known to man crap!

Now the word crap is an abreveation of the name Thomas Crapper! the famous Thorne plumber who did so much to make the modern bog the fantastic system that is in use today.

so why has John been told off ,why is this wonderfull word not considered to be P.C.

It stinks.

It's the same on praise or grumble, a few weeks ago some said "we were crap today" and who ever the presenter was, (think it was Giddings) he pulled him up and asked to watch his language. It's laughable, how many people would actually get offended by hearing the word crap on the radio. The funny thing is, sometimes when BBC Sheffield are doing live commentary you can hear fans effing and blinding throughout. :hihi:
