pattricia
Because unlike nearly all radio presenters he "went public" with the details of his sacking I think he will probably be "black listed" by the BBC now, sadly. So he did a " Tony Blackburn " did he ?
*_ash_*
what annoys me is why have 3 traffic reports in the football heaven programme, 6pm ..7pm,80% of listeners will be at home and the20% that are in the cars going home wil l know all the trouble spots any way, and its word for word the same every night, well its 6.15 and the parkway is busy and prince of wales rd is busy and townend is busy ,then its 6.30 things are a bit better now the parkway is easing off so is pow rd and townend, then guess what its 6.45 and its all clear now on ...............youve guessed it parkway pow rd and townend is a lot better now ,it will be every ones got home its the same thing word for word perfect a total waste of time That's 100% and doesn't include me, so your figures are wrong. Yes Kelner is quality, listen to his appearances on Radio 5 Live 'Fighting Talk.' Eloquent, funny and well respected. Treated very shabbily by BBC Radio L**ds. Fudbeer
Yes Kelner is quality, listen to his appearances on Radio 5 Live 'Fighting Talk.' Eloquent, funny and well respected. Treated very shabbily by BBC Radio L**ds. Agree he is intelligent, entertaining, knowledgable and funny. He also has a good background in sports writing. Amazing he is not in demand really when you listen to some of the dros they have on these days. Talk sport, where he has a guest spot on the excellent Hawsksby and Jacobs show would be an ideal fit. Jeffrey Shaw
Maybe that's what happens on Saturday nights? But Phil Butler is better. Good news that his 70s/80s programme has now moved to Saturday nights, starting today.
nohands
They have had Kat Cowan on in the afternoons. Big improvement for me over Paulette who I think is like a primary school teacher patronising her listeners. As for Toby, I am not a big fan but do think he does a good job.
