goldenfleece
A once truly great trad pub called the Hallamshire Hotel, a real gem on the live music circuit. Ah some happy times there.......

muddycoffee
Yes as the hallamshire it was a legendary gig venue for local bands. Whoever changed it to the bland open plan generic forgettable shed that it is now should be hung drawn and quartered. It really is a crying shame what has happened to some of the truly great pubs of this city. Fortunately we have People Like Goldenfleece with the good manners and talent to open a new great pub with live and proper music, and a considerable selection of ales.
