My family have stopped at the Bull's Head on a couple of occasions (both times having literally landed there. 'Any chance of a room for the night?'). Our room, whilst compact was spot on, overlooking Mam Tor. I think it cost about £60 for the night (mid-week) but you get the added benefit of a lovely, countryside pub with good cask ale and excellent food (and of course, free parking). My young girls, my wife and I played board games (Scrabble etc), had a bite and few pints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stopped en route from a mid-week break to North Wales and I'm afraid to say, Blackpool. Oh, and a cracking breakfast too!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
