Poem: 'Into the unknown.'

You see nothing before you,

What to do,

Where to go,

A puppets show,

The wind is blowing,

Without knowing,

Carrying a seed soon to be growing,

You make a plan,

Do what you can,

A seed dies along the way,

And so you stay,

 

You feel like a bird,

Amongst this herd,

A bitter sting,

And you loose a wing,

The path grows longer,

But you grow stronger.

 

Into the unknown,

What’s next?

Hanging in space,

Into a new place,

Every corner a new face,

 

Love dies, your insides weaker,

Wait a while my fellow seeker,

Trying to understand,

Each idea washed away like sand,

Feeling like a distant star

How have I drifted this far?

Not the strongest telescope

Could give you any hope

Make a plan

I’m doing all I can

Where shall I set sail?

Will I prevail or to no avail?
