I think the original company was bought out by a larger contractor. Wasn't it called HH Stimson or Stinson or stillson something like that. The Porter Brook Pub used to be the offices, for a builders firm, from at least the 1960s onward. I'm not entirely certain about being able to walk along that section. It might have been private land, backing onto the porter. I was aquainted with the tenant of what was the flat above, nice girl, spent many a happy hour there.
