Blacksheep
Hi all, We are opening a new cask ale brewery here in Sheffield on Carlisle Street East. Called The Brew Company we have have successfully sold out our test brews at the Kelham Island Tavern and The Hillsborough Hotel and had fantastic feedback from the CAMRA chairman and drinkers alike. We are nearly ready to open our brewery in a lovely Victorian building which is under refurbishment. Our brewery will be installed on the 23rd of June and our first beers will be available the first week in July, so look out for our distinctive pump clips on a bar near you! We will be offering brewery tours and tutored tastings in our very own visitor centre. I'll update the forum when we are open for business but until then you can check us out at http://www.thebrewcompany.co.uk We also have a blog at http://thebrewco.wordpress.com/

I brewed two casks of this one and because Abyss had previously sold out in 4 hours in the KIT, they had both casks of Eclipse. Which then sold out in two nights. Not bad considering the pub has 12 pumps! I'll be down to see you soon with a price list and an invite
Paulmat
Sounds excellent. Can't wait to try them all out. A tour of the Brewery would be interesting too. Is that gonna be a regular thing, or organised visits only? Out of interest, where are you based?
Blacksheep
Sounds excellent. Can't wait to try them all out. A tour of the Brewery would be interesting too. Is that gonna be a regular thing, or organised visits only? Out of interest, where are you based? Tours will be pre- arranged visits only and we will need a minimum number of people to do one (10) The tours will include a talk on brewing techniques, ingredients, a phyisical tour of the brewery, a tutored tasting, a chance to 'pull your own pint' all for a nominal fee of course but it's great value. There is obviously then the chance to purchase a few more pints at the bar You can find our location on our blog page at http://thebrewco.wordpress.com/find-us/ and also more about events at http://thebrewco.wordpress.com/brewery-events/
