Flug
My partner and I will be in Sheffield for a day or two later in the month. In a nutshell, can anyone tell me a reasonably priced, restaurant in central Sheffield where we can enjoy a freshly cooked and private evening meal for two? RebeccaB
I guess it depends what you mean by private... One recommendation from me would be Bar23 - which is in the West One complex - its a good standard and small-ish so i guess thats relatively private. thry do have a website if you google them. If you let us know what food styles you like I'll think of some more!
Flug
English, Chinese, Indian, but not pub type food. Thank you RebeccaB

RebeccaB
If you like Indians then Aagrah in Lepold Square is good - authentic food, good service. Gets quite busy in there so plenty of atmosphere, but still nice for a couple. Strada is an Italian also in Leopold Sq - it is a chain but nice food for an italian at a reasonable price. Just out of town is Felicini (Italian) on Ecclesall Road - been twice now and enjoyed food and great service both times.

Tooeg
If Hue Wei is the one in the old baths then I went in a few years ago very good. Never seemed very busy, maybe I went at wrong time.
Katya
The food at Aagrah is OK but they do rush you through if it is at all busy so I don't think I would recommend it for a special night out.
