Fred was a keen angler who went religously in his caravet every Sunday. He was a regular in the pitsmoor club to. He would be about 80 now, but as I have recently rekindled my passion for fishing it made me think of the days gone by when half a dozen of us would travel up to 150 miles for a days fishing all year round.
