DippyDore Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Takdir at Parkhead, next to the WheatSheaf pub (Ecclesall Road/Abbey Lane junction) is probably the best Indian takeaway on the South side of the city. They deliver within a 3 mile radius. I was impressed with Chan's Chinese on Abbeydale Road at Millhouses previously but the last meal from there was a bit disappointing. We had the family deal, which was 2 starters + 3 mains + 1 extra main, which came to only £23, including home delivery, which arrived in 20 minutes! Have to disagree with the person earlier who said it had gone downhill. Really was excellent - fresh ingredients, lots of it, good flavoursome sauces and the best prawn toast ever (deep filled).
