What was your first job?

Recommended Posts

Friday night/Saturday lunchtime in the local chip shop!

Boy, did I stink! I ended up having to keep a special set of underwear in a sealed plastic bag 'cos even washing them didn't take away the pong of chip fat.

But it was the best chippie for miles around (where's the yum yum smilie when you want it?)

The trick is one cup of spirit vinegar and 50 grams of baking soda in the wash.

First job after leaving school was showing people round the Blue John Caverns in Castleton, hitched there every morning for 2 years! Not bad considering I wanted to be an electrician!! ( I'm a photographer now!)

My first job was a waitress in a cocktail bar

that much is true.....

But even then I knew I'd find a much better place

Either with or without you

The five years we have had have been such good times

I still love you

But now I think it's time I lived my life on my own

I guess it's just what I must do

;)

Marketing gopher at a public fine arts radio station. The broadcast was piped into the office from morning until night. Almost jumped out a second-floor window during the daily reading of William Least Heat-Moon's "Blue Highways.":help:
