chimay Posted November 27, 2010 Share Posted November 27, 2010 My first job in about 1972/3 was as a Saturday girl on a cooked meat stall in the Castle market. I had to open the huge tins of cooked meat but I couldn't use the slicer. I was paid £5 a day. I also had three or four babysitting jobs for which I was paid £1 a night.
