Hazel Knight
You are probably right about Cleethorpes. It's the place I remember going on the club trips. I remember having to be up very early - it seemed the middle of the night. I guess it was probably about 8 am the coaches left I was at Cleethorpes a couple of weeks ago and how small it looks to me now. How empty the beaches are when we worried about being lost in the crowds on the beach and not being able to find our parents.
Hazel Knight
When I go back to Sheffield I go to Woodhouse - usually to put flowers on Mum and Dads grave. The village has looked sad and depressed for a long while but this last visit I noticed a bit of progress with the shops between the Cross and the War Memorial being 'done up' I hope this is the start of some improvements as it certainly needs it. Its not the place I remember as a child.
