Kings Kids is fab. Friendly organisers, good play area, free singing session and fresh coffee/tea for the adults and juice, biscuits and fruit for the kids. All for £1.50!

They have sessions Mondays and Fridays 9.45 to 12 noon. http://www.kingscentreonline.com/kingskids

Also the NCT at St Andrews Hall on Tuesday mornings.

Sorry, I don't have contacts as my little one's at nursery now. Try Google.

If you get your hands on a copy of Link magazine (available two or three times a year at Post Offices, doctor's surgeries and toddler groups), there are heaps of toddler groups in and around the Hunters bar/Nether Edge area.

I'm a 27 year old mum of a lovely 4.5 month old boy and am very keen to go to Mum and baby groups in the S8 area to socialise both him and myself, as I feel isolated at times. I've been to a few baby and toddler groups in Woodseats and Beauchief but find most of the children there are around 1.5-4years old and their Mums are either in their mid-to-late 30's, or the children are there with a childminder. Although they're very friendly and welcoming it's quite hard to find common ground and I would really like to meet mums and babies at a group geared for people in a simmilar position. If you know of any and times, dates etc I'd love to hear about them, thanks x

South Sheffield Evangelical church on Bradway Road (next to Lowedges Fire Station) Fridays at 9.30 til 11.30ish. 50p, including drink and biscuit for parents and toddlers. We've had a sudden influx of young babies, and lost a lot of the older ones to nursery and school so I think you'd feel at home there. I'm old at 36, but lots of young mums there too :) My 2 youngest are 2.5 & 1.5 There isn't one this week and it's the belated xmas party next week so doesn't start til 11. Back to normal the week after.

Thanks so much for the message, I will have a stroll up and pop in once normal activities resume (and the weather improves!) as it's not far from where I live. Really hope I didn't offend with my message about mid-to-late 30's mums! ;-)

Anyway, I'm on the wrong side of 25 and far too boring for my age! :-D

Hopefully see you there soon.
