They told me they had no cash but could offer me credit which I could spend that day or any other time at CEX on anything they had. It didn't sound a good idea to me as a lot of their stuff seems to be cheaper or similarly priced elsewhere so I opted not to. I was then advised that if I wanted to sell things to them in the future I should try earlier in the day or call them first. Seems fair enough, but reading the forum on CEX's own website it seems that CEX may be becoming a bit tight fisted when it comes to handing out the money and seem to prefer handing out CEX credits instead.
