playman Posted February 25, 2005 Share Posted February 25, 2005 the big house we used to call the castle cos it was shaped like a castle surrounded by an orchard and yes the duck pond, alas no longer there now a property developer bought the land and built on it, but the pond is still there it had to be left in situ and they built round it, if you remember the pig farm that the broadheads used to own, it too is part of the development, in fact the road leading in goes down the old pig farm drive.
