We found the Alive Guide which recommends: The Birley Hotel open mic The Casbah late night jam and Fagans live session Any other suggestions? Halibut Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 Fagans is excellent - generally a pretty high standard of musicianship and the tunes tend to be very much in the traditional/folk/Irish vein. The beer is also excellent and I think you'd get a warm welcome. Can't speak for the other two venues never having been to an open mic at either. Will you be in town for long?
