We've been to a couple of places recently that no-longer show matches we've expected to be able to see, so we've missed the first half travelling to another pub or going home to listen on the radio Thanks for the info, Ian It's nothing to do with the football watchers. Just ask the Landlord how much Sky TV charges pubs, then it might become clear. Robbers

Robbers I know what you mean, Viking, but if the football attracts the punters it's worth paying for - as it doesn't attract them, it's as well to unplug the Sky Took Brude to Padley Gorge and stopped at the Abbey in Woodseats on the way home. Packed to the eyeballs with a mixed crowd (for added atmosphere). Thanks for all your suggestions. We'll try some of those out in future Do any of them allow dogs? Brude enjoys watching the footy He thinks the object of the game is to play for the corner though (No comment on the result today )
