Looking for photos/history of St. bartholomews Church in Carbrooke St.

mum used to play hell about the vicar after a service he used to call in the pub across the road at the top off Carbrook St for a drink,they used to have scouts and girl guids meetings at the back of the church.

 

would that be the excelsior

They are at Sheffield Archives near Sheffield Train Station. I have viewed them. We were the last wedding to take place in June 1967 The church was closed but we got special permisssion to open it for the wedding.
i was married there in 1962 and i think i was christained i know my grandfather funeral was held there

I was christened at st bartholomews i was born in 1956 i went to cubs and scouts in chuch at the back the scout master i recall was called henry thompkins his wife was also there remember going to hesley wood scout camp
