boboskins Posted July 28, 2008 Share Posted July 28, 2008 The Building used to be run by Silver Smiths and list listed so they cannot do much with the front of the building which, coincidently has the Silversmiths name on it from its previous occupancy! Not really a coincidence to call it Silversmiths now is it? As you've said it's always said that on the front and they couldn't alter the front of the building as it's listed. Ramsay will have just said 'Well you can't change the front and it's not gonna be called George Ropers so how about Silversmiths?'. Dab of silver paint to highlight it and jobs a good un! Rebrand. Seemed nice and down to earth, and I was well chuffed.
