Reflex is not a Bad Place, My friend works Behind the Bar and i Used to work on the Door. Aslong as your not trying to pull Its a okay place. Single ugly men and old women acting 20 again yes but occasional i go in ( not been big headed) They have drinks offers on certain nights off the week. JUST DO NOT VENTURE PAST THE TOILETS TO THE DARK LITTLE CAVE THEY NOW CALL . . . .. . FLARES ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
And why is that ?

As a fan of 80s music, it sounds like a Pub I'd like, but Mum and Dad don't approve of me drinking in Town, that and the fact that I refuse on principle to pay more than £2.50 a Pint for my drinks, and Town Pubs *cough* The Washington *cough* tend to charge a lot for drinks.

Is Reflex expensive? And does it ever get any trouble? All I want is a nice relaxing not too expensive Boozer, where I can indulge in cheesy 80s music (I don't dance though, 2 left feet!) and possibly be able to talk to people over the music.

There was some trouble once when I was in - a guy and his girlfriend had a row an' she slapped him. The bouncers escorted us, I mean them, out straight away, no questions asked. Drinks not too expensive as far as I can remember...

seems like a lot of pretentious people on this thread. Sweeping statements all men old and ugly . I suppose you lot are all body beautiful and 21. It makes me laugh how older people should hide away according to some. If you dont like the place just say so. How does looks even come into it (rather a contradiction) if not on the pull

I was in the new reflex/flares last night. Not a bad place and even for a Monday night it was good for a boogie.

I was on corona and £3.15 for a bottle of the stuff was steep IMO but the atmosphere wasn't all bad.

I suppose for a better outlook on the place it'd be worth trying on a weekend

Loud, Full of people who probably started going out in the 80s if not earlier and should have grown out of it by now! Smells bad! Rubbish Selection of Drinks! The 'Cocktails' aren't even Cocktails their just drinks thrown together that they probably can't shift individually! I wouldn't go there out of choice unless you enjoy Grab a Granny Nights!

I don't think older people should hide away but when they are hanging around in bars designed for a younger crowd and pretending they are still 21 themselves it is a bit tragic!
