Yet ANOTHER reason to avoid them then! Halal is simply horrific. Come on, this is the 2st century - not the middle ages. If we are going to eat animals the least we can do is slaughter them humanely. They do a special menu before 5.30 as well, can't remember the exact price but it was reasonable - less than a tenner for starter and main course. sounds interesting might venture there one lunchtime the menu looks good.
