crookesey
I know a Robert Nettleship.Would be about 45-50 ish now. A Bert Nettleship comes to mind with me but I can't for the life of me remember why. Steel/engineering could be the answer as I visited loads of factories and workshops with my job. hillsbro
The "UK-Info Disk" (based on the 2004 electoral rolls) lists 49 Nettleships in Sheffield, with another 40+ in the surrounding area. There's a "family forum" here: http://genforum.genealogy.com/nettleship/

Puffin4
When I was at Woodthorpe School juniors in the 1940's, there was an Enid Nettleship in my class. I think she lived in the prefabs on Stradbroke Road. Mike
Plain Talker
I went to school with a lad called Nettleship, (he'll be 44 ish, now) and I was also friends with another family called Nettleship, the son of whom was killed about 10 years ago in a car accident.
